Tavolata on August 9, 2024 – at Domaine Mermetus, Lavaux
On August 9, the first edition of the Tavolata, organized by the Label Fait Maison and Swiss Wine, took place at Domaine Mermetus, set amidst the enchanting UNESCO World Heritage vineyards of Lavaux. This exclusive evening brought together 28 guests for a unique gastronomic experience, where Chef Xavier Bats, Ordanais crafted an exquisite menu using seasonal ingredients. Throughout the evening, the chef took the time to introduce and explain each dish, enhancing the culinary experience for the guests.
Chef Bats’ creations were beautifully paired with exceptional wines from Domaine Mermetus, presented by winemaker Vincent Chollet. The event was also graced by captivating music, adding a touch of magic to the evening. This Tavolata offered an unforgettable moment of conviviality and sharing in the heart of the Lavaux vineyards.
And this is just the beginning, as more Tavolatas are planned across Switzerland in 2025 to continue celebrating Swiss gastronomy and Swiss wines.
